Invisalign® Clear Aligners

There has never been a better time to straighten your teeth with the most advanced clear aligner in the world. Our office is proud to be a certified Invisalign provider. Invisalign gives you a clear, convenient, and comfortable option to achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. This treatment is perfect for patients who are looking for a discreet orthodontic treatment. The plastic trays are comfortable and virtually invisible (nobody will notice you are wearing them!).

At your initial consultation, we will discuss your orthodontic needs and evaluate whether Invisalign treatment is right for you. We will use a scanner, such as the iTero® digital scanning system, to create fast and precise 3D digital images of your teeth. Your custom-made aligners will be made of Invisalign’s proprietary SmartTrack® material. Your teeth will gently and gradually shift into place as you wear each set of aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day. We may recommend that you begin wearing a new set of aligners every week and schedule check ups approximately every six weeks.

Invisalign Teen

Invisalign treatment gives both you and your teen a better teeth-straightening experience when compared to traditional braces. Invisalign corrects both simple and complex orthodontic cases, avoids pain from rubbing brackets and broken wires, and requires fewer orthodontist visits. The Invisalign trays can be removed for eating and important sports or social events; so your teen will be able to enjoy all of the foods and activities they love!

Your teen will receive Invisalign clear aligners created with the Invisalign system’s proprietary SmartTrack material. Throughout treatment, you can monitor your son’s or daughter’s compliance through an indicator on the aligner. In addition, with the Invisalign Teen Guarantee, you have the option to switch to wires and brackets if your teen decides against Invisalign treatment within the first six months.

Braces

Braces are the most traditional and widely-used method of straightening teeth. Braces slowly move teeth to the correct position by placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction. Braces are more modern and less bulky than they were in previous years; therefore, they are still an effective and comfortable alternative to achieve the smile of your dreams.

Traditional Metal

Metal braces are made of medical-degree stainless steel. These braces are effective, fast, and easy to clean. They are also more discreet and comfortable than ever due to technological advances. Patients can also choose to brighten up their smiles by having the wires tied to the brackets with colorful elastic bands.

Ceramic / White

Ceramic or white braces are an aesthetic alternative to traditional braces. They can be made of either translucent Sapphire or a tooth-color ceramic. Ceramic/Clear braces are the most popular alternative among adult patients who choose this type of orthodontic treatment. They are also suitable for teens; however, they must have perfect oral hygiene during treatment.

Orthodontics for All Ages

Phase I Treatment

Phase I orthodontic treatment, also known as early interceptive treatment, aims to detect abnormalities in the development of the jaw and teeth eruption in children before all of their permanent teeth erupt. Phase I corrects these abnormalities with simple orthodontic procedures. It is typically done between the ages of six and ten. This procedure prevents multiple orthodontic problems that normally manifest as the patient grows.

Phase II Treatment

Phase II occurs when fixed orthodontic appliances (typically braces) are placed on the upper and/or lower teeth. This phase intends to correct spaces and teeth crowding. It also treats bite problems like overbites, open bites, or crossbites. Phase II treatments are typically indicated by the age of 11 or 12 and are a lot smoother for those who have already undergone Phase I treatments.

Adult Treatment

Dr. Chad is committed to providing our adult patients with the most advanced and comprehensive treatment available. Braces aren’t just for kids anymore! Today in the U.S., one out of every five patients in orthodontic treatment is over 21 years old. We offer a variety of treatments that are designed for different age groups–including adults! Invisalign is especially popular with our adults.

Dentofacial Orthopedics

Orthodontics is one of the nine dental specialties and entails the management of tooth movement. It also incorporates the guidance of facial growth and development, which occurs largely during childhood. Different appliances are used to help in this process, including braces, aligners, palate expanders and more.

Dr. Chad is able to diagnose any misalignments in the teeth, jaw and other facial structure and can create a treatment plan that integrates both orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic treatments.
