Our Misson

Dr. Chad designed a logo to remind him of his core commitments. The dark lines represent the “R” and the “O” of “Rowan Orthodontics”. The general outline of his logo reflects the basic design of an orthodontic bracket. The orthodontic bracket has four “wings” that help guide and direct the tooth to the appropriate position. Dr. Chad has identified four values that he feels have helped guide and direct his life: Family, Faith, Personal Development, and Community.

Dr. Chad’s patients are encouraged to participate in the Rowan’s Rewards Program by demonstrating commendable behavior associated with these values. Whether it’s improving your grades on a report card, reading new books, participating in a community service project, or helping a sibling with their homework; Dr. Chad feels you should be rewarded for your good deeds.

Meet Dr. Chad Rowan

Professional Background

Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. Chad grew up seeing his father, grandfather, and uncles improve the smiles and lives of those they treated. Now, he happily does the same for his own patients. Dr. Chad says that his favorite part of being an orthodontist is getting to know his patients, becoming their friend, and watching their transformation as their new smiles develop.

Dr. Chad received his dental and orthodontic training at some of the top universities in the United States. UCLA’s School of Dentistry scores and performance consistently rank among the top three in the country. Saint Louis University’s Center for Advanced Dental Education, where Dr. Chad completed his residency, is a recognized leader in orthodontic training. It has produced more orthodontic graduates and orthodontic research awards than any other program in the world.

Outside the Office

Dr. Chad and his wife Christy, have been married for twenty years. They have five energetic boys: Brent, Davis, Craig, Blake, and Tate. They love taking trips and exploring different parts of the country; especially, those with historical significance. The Rowan’s love spending time outdoors together; whether it's on the sports field, at the beach or in the mountains. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Chad also loves to travel and has spent considerable time in Mexico, Honduras, and other Latin American Countries.

Committed to our Community

Dr. Chad is an active member of his church and works with its youth group. He believes education is a key to opportunity. Dr. Chad has worked closely with many local educators to give presentations in schools on learning important life skills and proper oral health care.
